Had a blessed Christmas this year. Spent it with friends and relatives. okay.. mostly friends. =D
Thank you for all the thoughtful gifts! Especially from the potatoes! =)
Would like to blog about a phrase that in this present been misused in many different ways
During Christmas this phrase is heard a lot, "It is the thought that counts."
This phrase has been misinterpreted in so many ways ever, and been used as an excuse even in some cases.
I feel that this phrase should be interpreted this way. The thought would be referring to the thought process of choosing a gift, whether this person will like it or will this person use it? This thought process sometimes is long and tiring but its what creates a wow factor when you open your presents! One man's treasure may be another man's poison. Therefore, this thought process is what makes it counts! =)
Well, that is my 2 cents worth on the phrase: "It's the thought that counts."
